I'm Alankrit. I'm an engineer who's spent most of his career building things from zero to one - platforms, data systems, and now AI agents that operate in high-stakes environments.

I studied Computer Science at IIT Delhi, then went through a string of founding engineer roles - building backend infrastructure, leading platform and data engineering teams, and taking a detour into entrepreneurship. All of it was some version of the same question: how do you build systems that actually work at scale?

Now I'm Co-Founder and CTO at Simbian, where that question meets security. I came at cybersecurity from the AI and engineering side, not the other way around - which shapes how I think about the space.

This site is where I think out loud - about AI agents, cybersecurity, the craft of building technology companies, and the things I get wrong along the way.

• Cybersecurity - an engineer's perspective on why the status quo is broken
